Come and discover Fjords of Norway with Scanbalt Experience! The landscape is truly unique - mighty fjords surrounded by majestic, snow-covered mountain peaks, wild waterfalls and lush, green vegetation. The fjord area is like a great playground for those who are keen on outdoor activities, as well as for those who just love nature and picturesque sceneries.

Duration: 6 days/5 nights (1 night in Oslo, 2 nights in fjord area, 1 night in Bergen, 1 night on the bus)

Day 1 Departure to Oslo
We meet at the departure point in the morning and jump on the bus. Take everything you need until arrival to Oslo inside the bus. The afternoon, we will arrive at the capital of Norway, Oslo. In the evening, you will have free time to discover Oslo on your own. Those who would like to go out for a drink together, meet in front of the hostel (bring ID!).
Day 2, Oslo – Gjerde
In the morning, we will depart towards the Fjords – Gjerde. Take everything that you need on the bus for the day. On the way, we will visit famous Borgund Stave Church. We will view and take photos of the church from outside. Those, who are interested, can buy the entrance (price for students is 70 NOK). Late afternoon, we will arrive in Gjerde – Jostedal Camping site. The evening is free time to discover the area on your own. Later, we gather for barbeque (bring your own sausages).
Day 3, Gjerde
After breakfast, we will depart for the glacier hike. Bring lunch pack with you and make sure you have a waterproof jacket and good shoes. Those who stay in the camp area can discover the surrounding, hike or rent kayak/boat from the property.
In the evening it is also the possibility to barbecue, bring your own food.
Day 4, Gjerde – Bergen
After breakfast, we will leave Gjerde and travel to Flåm where you can board a boat for a cruise on the Sognefjord (optional activity). A narrow part of the fjord is called Nærøyfjord and is protected by UNESCO. Or you can stay in Flam and hang have a short hike there or visit local souvenir shops. In the evening we arrive in Hanseatic city Bergen by the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 5 Bergen
Breakfast. Join the group for a guided walk and after that, you can explore Bergen on your own. You could start with the UNESCO protected Bryggen, Bergen's old waterfront where the Hanseatic traders once lived and worked. If you would like a great view of the city and its surroundings, take the Flöjbanen or walk to the top of mount Flöjen (320 meters), or take the Cable car to Mount Ulriken (642 meters). Bergen also has some great museums. We depart Bergen in the evening and travel through Norwegians mountains during the night.
Day 6 Return
Arrival back to the departure point. We hope that you will have wonderful memories of the lifetime with new friends.
