Program

Day 1. Edinburgh
Arrival in Edingburgh. 16:00 Meet the tour leader and check in to the hostel. In the afternoon we meet our local guide and go for a guided walk. Later you can visit the famous Edingburgh castle, climb the city mountain Arthurs Seat for a great view or just chill with a pint trying to understand the Scottish dialect and listen to some live folk music, played in most of the pubs.

Day 2. Edinburgh to Fort Augustus
Start in the morning and we travel towards the stunning highlands. We visit a whiskey distillery to try and learn about the national drink! We continue to Culloden battle field where Bonnie Prince Charlie and the highlanders made a brave and last attempt to fight for freedom. You haven’t been to Scotland if you haven’t searched for the most famous Scottish celebrity Nessie (sorry - Braveheart). Obviously she is a bit shy but we make our best to get in contact during our stop at Loch Nessy! Beautiful Urquhart Castle ruin is our last stop before we reach Fort Augustus - our home for two nights.

Day 3. Fort Augustus  (- Isle of Skye)
You can join our day trip to the stunning Isle of Skye or go independently to explore the Loch Ness area. The Isle of Sky where the highlands meet the Atlantic is said to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world and the scenery is stunning. Here we have some shorter hikes and visit some interesting places.

Day 4. Fort Augustus  to Stirling to  Edinburgh
We travel south west to the British adventure capital Fort William then through the Loch Lomond National Park before arriving in Stirling. The city was the key to control Scotland also a reason why Scotlands biggest Castle is located there. We arrive in Edinburgh in the evening. Get ready for the last night in Bonnie Scotland.

Day 5. Edinburgh
Spend another day in Edinburgh or travel back home.
