Program

Day 1. Dublin to Edinburgh
We depart Dublin in the early morning and catch the ferry from Northern Ireland to Scotland. We drive from the Scottish West Coast to the capital Edinburgh where we arrive in the afternoon. Get ready to join the orientation walk and explore this amazing city!

Day 2 Edinburgh
This day you have plenty of time to continue exploring Edinburgh and visit some of the great museums and the Edinburgh Castle. If you feel like exercising a bit, hike up the city mountain, Arthur's Seat. From its peak of 250 meters above sea level you can get a great view of the city and its surroundings.

Day 3 Edinburgh to Fort Augustus
We start in the morning and travel towards the stunning Highlands. You will hear lots of stories about Braveheart, Rob Roy, Scottish history, and the nature of the Highlands. We for example stop at Stirling, a whisky distillery and Urquhart Castle ruin before we reach Fort Augustus at Loch Ness where we stay the night. After a recommended swim in search of the local celebrity Nessie you can have a optional Scottish meal at the hostel and enjoy some traditional music and maybe practice some dance moves as well!

Day 4 Fort Augustus to Dublin
Free time in the morning to explore. We travel south passing by Fort William and Glen Coe to hear about the horrible Glen Coe Massacre, amongst other stories. We continue through the beautiful Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park area with great views. In the evening we catch the ferry from Scotland to Northern Ireland from where we continue to Dublin.
