For the moment we are mostly interested in recruiting a tour manager who can work for us the first weeks in October. At that time we will organise 3 tours Oslo-Laerdal/sogndal-Bergen. Each tour will be 5 days long. Read more here about the tours. You should have Oslo as a base and thats where you start and finish the tours. The following experience is essential; You should have experience from work as tour manager, you should have knowledge in norwegian language, culture and history, you should be familiar with those places we are going to visit, you should fit in with and enjoy leading bigger groups of people 20-25 years old from all over the world. You should have atleast basic knowledge of out door life and hiking. You must be fit enough to lead a group of young persons during day hikes. We prefer persons who have been doing some sort of budget travels. At the same time you should think its funny working with young people but you must be 100% professional and not have any problem with controlling a group of young people. On tours we use hostels and you might be sharing room with passengers. The person we recruit might be offered to do more tours and work for Scanbalt in a near future.
If possible its good for us to avoid being your employer to reduce the amount of administration.
