Payment: 2900 SEK must paid before departure and 250 NOK be paid to the tour leader on day 3 in the morning.
Departure: Umeå Train station 7PM, Luleå Train station 9:45 PM

Itinerary

Day 1 The departure point-
We meet at the departure point and get on the bus that takes us to the far north. We sleep on the bus and you have plenty of time to get to know your travel mates.

Day 2 Tromsö
In the morning you wake up at the camping ground just outside Tromsö where we have breakfast and get ready to explore the city and the beautiful surroundings. Tromsö is a historical city with the worlds most Nortern University and the starting point for many polar expeditions. The cable car up Storsteinen, 420m above sea level, offers breathtaking panoramic views over the city.

Day 3 Tromsö-North Cape
We depart from Tromsö 9 AM and will travel until the evening. The ride will give you great views over a stunning landscapes with fjords, sea and mountains and we will make several stops. Have the camera ready. In the evening we reach the North Cape hostel where we check in. Later we continue to the North Cape where you can experience the visitor centre and the Cape at midnight under the midnight sun!!!

Day 4 North Cape-Inari
At 8:30 you can join for 5,5 hour hike on the peninsula Knivskjelodden (71o, 11’, 08’’) - The real northernmost point of Europe. So this place is not possible to reach by bus only by foot. At 2:30 PM we leave and head for Finland, observe that if the weather is too bad we will skip the hike and go directly to Finland. We will stay this night outside Inari the centre for the Finnish Sami population. In the evening we will have a sauna and a swim in the lake next to the hostel.

Day 5 Inari-
This day is a free day for activities in Inari. You can hike in the area or go on a guided canoe-tour for 3 hours. At 7 PM we leave Inari. At about midnight we stop at the Arctic Circle outside Rovaniemi where Santa lives but this late he will be sleeping. We will sleep on the bus this night.   

Day 6 Umeå
We will drop people of at the trainstation in Luleå about 5:50 AM and arrive in Umeå at 9 AM.

Accommodation
On this tour all the accommodation is included in the price. We sleep two nights in our bus and for three nights we stay in hostels and cabins on a shared-room basis. Who sleeps where is decided after departure. Remember that the rooms should be cleaned before checking out from the places we stays. There are kitchens at all places we stay. Bed linen isn't included in the price in Tromsö so you need to bring your own or sleeping bags

Canoe Excursion in Inari
The following need to be booked at least 10 days before departure; Inari day 5, a 3 hours guided canoe trip in the nearby lake and river. Price 15 Euros that should be paid day 4.

Preparations
The weather in Northern Scandinavia is hard to predict. You need to bring wind and waterproof jacket, good shoes if you like to participate in the hikes, a small back pack for bringing on hikes and canoe trips.

If participating in longer hikes you need to be fit for it. For example you need to be able to make a 6 hours walk if joining the hike on day 4. Remember that you must have walked with the shoes you bringing on the tour.
