Day 1 Reykjavik
Welcome to Iceland! Meet your tour manager at the hostel. Enjoy an afternoon together for a walk around the capital while meeting the rest of the group. Later in the evening we get a taste of the city’s famous night life.
Day 2 Reykjavik- Stykkishólmur
Today we leave the capital behind us and travel North towards the Snæfellsnes peninsula. On the way we will hear about the Icelandic Viking Sagas and pass by some historical sites. On the 100 long peninsula Snæfellsnes you will find stunning scenery with fjord's, old volcanoes, golden beaches, lava fields and all crowned by the glistering glacier Snæfellsjökull. The mountain Snæfell was torn apart when the volcano collapsed and is seen as one of the planets power centres. Next we visit Bjarnarhöfn, a shark museum where you'll learn about the life of the local fishermen and if you're feeling brave, try some of the local delicacies such as dried fish and the famous shark Hakarl, Before ending the day in the seaside village of Stykkishólmur.
Day 3 Stykkishólmur-Laugarvatn
This morning we leave the seaside village behind and venture off to explore the famous Golden Circle with the majestic Gullfoss Waterfalls, Geysir Hot Springs and Þingvellir National Park a UNESCO protected site where the vikings founded the first democratic parliament in 930. We will finish the day in Laugarvatn, a village surrounded by magical misty fells and surrounded by nature.
Day 4 Laugarvatn
Today you can relax with a free day. You can stay in Laugarvatn and do some hiking or you have the option to book an activity. Why not ride an Icelandic horse like a real Viking. After a long day, what could be a better way of relaxing than the thermal baths in Laugarvatn.
Day 5 Laugarvatn- Reynisfjara - Vik -Reykjavik
Today we travel to South coast of Iceland and see two majestic waterfalls; Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss, the black sand beach Reynisfjara, take a look at the glacier Sólheimajökull and pay a visit to the town Vík. In the evening we arrive in Reykjavik, where we can spend the last night out with the group.
Day 6 Reykjavik
After breakfast, those who have booked, can go Whale watching. Others can explore Reykjavik on their own or to start heading back to airport. Why not visit a Blue Lagoon on the way to the airport?Latest check-out 11.00

The Siggi Tour - on this tour we offer the best riding routes available each time. Depending on weather and wind, we ride in the scenic surroundings of the farm, fore example across the river Varmá and through a lava field area, ending on good riding paths in the meadows south of the farm.
Good to know: No previous experience from horseriding is needed but you must be normally fit and not weigh over 110 KG. Be well dressed (helmets, overalls will be provided) You can not ride with backpack.

Description: The tours sighting success on previous tours is 92% however the cetacean abundance is unpredictable and varies with the food availability of the shores. The most common cetacean in the area are the Minke whales, White-beaked Dolphins and Harbour Porpoises and occasionally we see other species including the Humpback whales, Killer whales/Orcas and even Fin whales. In case of a non-sighting tour, they offer guests to come again for free (within the next 2 years). Warm overalls available.
