Itinerary
Day 1 (Sweden -) Oslo to Bergen
We meet at the departure point and jump on the bus. We travel through Norwegians mountains during the night.
Day 2 Bergen
We arrive in the hanseatic city Bergen by the Atlantic Ocean in time for our breakfast in the morning. Join our tour manager for a guided walk and after that you can explore Bergen on your own. You could start with the UNESCO protected Bryggen, Bergen's old waterfront where the Hanseatic traders once lived and worked. If you would like a great view of the city and its surroundings, take the Flöjbanen or walk to the top of mount Flöjen (320 meters), or take the Cable car to Mount Ulriken (642 meters). Bergen also has some great museums.
Day 3 Bergen- Laerdal
After breakfast we will leave Bergen by bus and travel to Gudvangen where we will board a boat for a cruise on the Sognefjord. A narrow part of the fjord is called Nærøyfjord and is protected by UNESCO. In Laerdal we will stay for two nights next to the mighty Sognefjord.
Day 4 Laerdal
A free day in Laerdal with possibilities to hike in the area by foot or bike. You can also choose to go with the bus to the Nigardsbreen Glacier where we will do a hike in the area around the glacier. (Read more under Optional activities)
Day 5 Laerdal-Oslo
We leave Laerdal in the early morning, make a photo stop at unique Borgund Stave church and then travel towards Oslo. We arrive in Oslo about 6 PM and the tour is over.
Day 6 Oslo - (Sweden) OPTIONAL! !
If you wish to prolong your tour with one night in Oslo, you have this possibility. After breakfast 9.00 AM we check out and leave for Oslo city tour. At 12.00 the tour is over and the bus can drop you off near central station or take you back to your hometown in Sweden.
