Day 1 Copenhagen to Lapland
We meet at the departure point and get on the bus that takes us to the far north. On the bus you have time to get to know your travel mates and watch some movies.
Day 2 Kiruna
In the morning you wake up in Kiruna a town in Lapland, north of the Arctic Circle. We have a good breakfast at our hostel and after that you have a day full of optional activities. There are loads of options, for example dog sledging and snow mobiling, The Iron Mine and the church shouldn't be missed (Read more under Optional activities). Note that if you visit the iron mine you need to do Dog Sledding and Snow mobiling in the morning (B)
Day 3 Kiruna-Abisko
Free time until 11 AM when we depart from the hostel to the world famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi, a small village just outside Kiruna. Check out the rooms and hang out in the bar - a memory of a lifetime.* We come back to Kiruna for lunch before heading west into the mountain area. We visit a family who are Sami, the indigos people of Northern Scandinavia. You will learn about the Sami way of life today and historically, meet and learn about their reindeer. Later we arrive to the Tourist Station in Abisko National Park where we will stay two nights. Abisko is known to be a good place for observe Northern Lights so keep your eyes open,
Day 4 Abisko
Today you can choose between going with the bus to The Norwegian town Narvik in the morning or stay in Abisko. In Abisko you can explore the area. (Read more under optional activities). We can only go to Narvik if the weather and road conditions are good. Narvik is located at the Atlantic and you will have a stunning scenery with snow covered peaks and fjords. In the afternoon you can use the traditional sauna and do arctic swims in Abisko!!!
Day 5 Abisko to Stockholm
This day is a free day for activities in the Abisko area, you can choose between optional activities arranged by the tourist organization or rent equipment for skiing etc. (Read more under Optional activities). After lunch we start travel south again and make few stops along the road before getting ready to sleep.
Day 6 Stockholm
We arrive in Stockholm in the morning and have breakfast at the hostel. Later you can join a guided walk and also have time to explore the city on your own. This will be last evening on the tour so lets make sure we have a great time!
Day 7 Stockholm to Copenhagen
We leave Stockholm at 1 PM so you have some time to see some more of Stockholm before departure. We arrive in Copenhagen about 10 PM and the trip is over.
